OBJECTIVES OF MIGRAINE: THE TRIGGER MORE' COMMON

E nemmeno l'ombra di un attacco di emicrania. Nemmeno un dolorino piccolo piccolo. Nemmeno un mal di testa da cattiva digestione o una cefalea da eccesso di equazioni.

Quindi, bando alle sciocchezze, la pressione e lo stress non provocano l'emicrania ! Anzi, fanno un gran benone! Ovviamente scherzo: come non esiste una persona uguale ad un'altra, non esiste un'emicrania uguale all'altre, quindi i trigger *, ovvero gli stimoli scatenanti dei violenti attacchi di dolore, variano moltissimo da persona a persona .

Trigger più comuni :
-Lampade molto luminose o lampeggianti (accade soprattutto per le lampade fluorescenti, che oggi stanno, purtroppo per i malati di emicrania, soppiantando le meno efficienti lampade a incandescenza - potrei tenere una conferenza sulle lampade e sul flicker, ma non è questa la sede ;-) )
-Fumo
-Disidratazione (ahiahi)
-Vapori chimici, profumi
-Alcohol, in particolare il vino rosso
- Fluttazioni ormonali, incluse le mestruazioni
- Sonno insufficiente, troppo sonno, cambiamenti in the usual pattern of sleep
- Climate change
- Movement
- loud noises
- Certain foods
- changes in height or be at high altitude without being used
- Sudden or drastic changes in eating habits (eg diet)
- Changes in taking caffeine

Per quel che mi riguarda, il più delle volte non riesco a determinare la causa di un mio attacco di emicrania, ma molte volte si tratta di uno di questi sintomi (in ordine di importanza):
-Cambiamenti nell'assunzione della caffeina
-Fluttuazioni ormonali
-Alcohol
-Cambiamento di altitudine
Quali sono i tuoi trigger? Fai una lista di tutti i tuoi trigger , in modo da renderti conto di come influiscono sul tuo stato di salute e di come è possibile evitarli.

I used the

7) Hai perso le tue capacità visive? Un'altro sintomo dell'essere zombie è la degenerazione delle cornee.

Ricorda: uno dei primi segni dell'essere affetti da Zombie Migraine Disease è mal di testa o emicrania!!

*intraducibile letteralmente perchè in Italia ancora non c'è una consapevolezza del fatto che l'emicrania è una vera e propria malattia!!

Yesterday I contacted via email the Foundation Sicuteri Nicolodi, the headache center at which they are in care, to know if I would replace the injections with the tablets.
I state that I take 5 tablets per day of default, ie without analgesics, antihistamines or other, then 5 pills only for migraine. In addition, since my progress had been disappointing for Dr. Nicolodi - though surprisingly good for me - I have been prescribed the injections to do at night 10 days yes and 10 no.
I must admit that the results were almost immediate and that the side effects were barely noticeable, but do injections every night is quite heavy, especially because they can not let me alone, so I had to pay out the nurse / a by 10 to 15 euro per injection. Very expensive. In comparison, the cost of the drug was actually ridiculous.

I started looking for information online migraine less than a year ago, by which time the pain was constant part of my life. Disappointed by the results obtained by typing "Migraine," I decided to try the English.
Typing the word "Migraine " on Google, I found the blog of the first results "Migraine Chick". Non era esattamente quello che cercavo, ma mi ha aperto le porte di un mondo sconosciuto. Il mondo dei blogger con l'emicrania.
Negli Stati Uniti è molto diffusa la pratica di tenere blog sulla propria malattia. E' molto comprensibile, dato che quando si presenta una malattia cronica alla porta della nostra vita, stravolge la nostra esistenza come un ciclone e diventa la nostra inseparabile compagna. Una malattia ci rende soli e poterne parlare ad altre persone che hanno lo stesso problema aiuta sia il blogger che i lettori a sentirsi meno soli e ad affrontare le problematiche più serenamente, sapendo che c'è qualcuno che li può capire.

Migraine Chick è una ragazza la cui vita è stata completamente sconvolta dall' emicrania e nel suo blog ha saputo reagire con forza e con ironia, descrivendo in modo simpatico il suo stato di salute, crea disegni, composizioni, collage, fumetti e poesie sull'emicrania.


Leggere il suo blog è un modo allegro e intelligente di affrontare il tema dell'emicrania.


L'ho contattata e mi ha permesso di tradurre qualche suo post, che vi presenterò nei prossimi giorni. E' stata molto felice di essere tradotta in italiano e di contribuire a diffondere la consapevolezza dell'emicrania in Italia.
